Quality Inn Denver
Bought from bank in June 2010: 213 rooms, 9 storied, The property underwent an extensive renovation. With the right strategy and business plan in place, we man-aged to increase the revenue by 12 times from the time of acquisition and the prop-erty was finally sold in 2017 for 4 times the amount that it was acquired. This sale with Quality Inn has appeared in the Choice group as an example property.
Harvey Chicago Hotel Complex
Bought in July 2013 from the bank, 3 hotels in a complex (75 rooms each, total 225 rooms).A business decision was taken to open these hotels under 3 different fran-chises to capture different market segments to maximise profitability and occupancy. With this decision we managed to increase the revenue by 133% in 2 years and fi-nally sold the hotels in 2015 at nearly double the purchase price.
Bianco Off Queen
This complex was purchased in 2008, it was a brand new complex of 170 apart-ments, spread across 13 floors and two towers with prime landmark buildings. We began with a clean slate of no revenue due to no occupancy or brand/flag. We finally sold this in 2014, at double the purchase price by bringing the annual revenue up by an unimaginable standard of 59999900%.
Auckland Harbour Oaks
Located on the busy Auckland harbour, lies the 400+ apartment hotel complex. At the most prime Central Business District location, with a bird eye view of the Auck-land skyline and landscape. For this project we partnered/Joint Venture with OAKS, an international hotel chain to uplift this loss making project and turn it into a profita-ble one. Today its value is 5 times that of the purchase value.
VR Napier Hotel
Located on Tennyson St, in the heart of Napier, the hotel is surrounded by most of Napier’s fine character buildings.
